Christine has been with TSO since its original concert in 1993. She started playing the viola while at primary school, benefitting from a scheme to give instrument tuition to selected pupils in Dundee schools, with a view to forming a school's orchestra. She then changed to playing the Violin under the tutelage of Chrissie Rhynd a well-known violinist/teacher in Dundee. By secondary school she joined the school's orchestra. Since leaving school she has played in various orchestras and musical groups, but mainly playing with TSO during the last 30+ years.
